Writing Memoir:

Navigating the Emotional Territory

You have a story to tell. You know others can benefit by learning from your experience. But you don’t want to re-live the “hard stuff” again in the telling of it. What to do?

Writing memoir can lead you into uncomfortable territory you may prefer to avoid. It can trigger feelings you don’t want to have influence you. But that territory you are avoiding may be precisely what your book needs to be successful.

How do other memoir authors do it?

In Navigating the Emotional Territory, I’ll give you tested methods to maneuver through uncomfortable emotional terrain and come out not only feeling good and with important new writing for your book. There will be time on the call for questions, and writers will be invited to express their concerns and share their successes with surmounting the hurdles.

Take advantage of this unique opportunity to learn and grow in ways that will benefit your writing beyond what you may be able to imagine.
